Ever get those butterflies in the pit of your stomach when you walk through those doors and stand in front of those “judges”? The reason I put quotes around the word judges is kind of a joke for when I was still cheering. My school has a grand total of 17 kids in highschool so the cheerleading options are like next to nothing.  Every girl in my highschool is a cheerleader! So in our school tryouts, they are just tradition (everyone always makes it). So the “judges” I think they are put there to make us feel official. So why is it then that we feel nervous? We aren’t going to get cut. But there we go we perform the cheer that we so diligently worked on with our partner for the past few weeks.  Tryouts are over this year…….so let’s get started on next year’s cheerleading tryouts!
